In 2011, two stay-at-home dads and new neighbors met on their street in Bromma, Sweden. Both Carl and Daniel had previous experience working in large corporations but had long considered starting their own business. They also shared a fascination with innovation — and with the challenge of keeping track of their children. That’s when the idea of a GPS-based service was born.
Soon after, they both left their jobs. The first six months were spent analyzing the market for similar services. The available solutions were limited and far from intuitive or user-friendly. Before long, the company’s focus shifted from child tracking to theft protection and electronic mileage logs. And that journey continues today.
