An upgraded version of the best-selling GPS tracker Scout! Scout 2.0 is a discreet GPS device, now with up to 5 years of battery life. Perfect for boats and cars, and also ideal for mopeds, jet skis, snowmobiles, and ATVs.
The subscription costs only 89 EURO per year and works throughout the EU. Easy to install and can optionally be connected to an alarm monitoring station with security response. The previous version was named “Best in Test” by Båtliv magazine.

Machine Easy is a compact and efficient GPS device that connects to the vehicle’s positive and negative terminals (+/−), provides real-time positioning, and logs history.
Once you have created an account, you can set up to five security zones for your NorthTracker Machine Easy. If the GPS device moves outside any of your selected zones, you will receive an immediate alert via SMS or email. Machine Easy provides theft protection that works throughout Europe. It continues transmitting its position, making it easier to recover stolen property. Machine Easy also logs movement history, allowing you to see how it has been used or summarise how long it has remained stationary at different locations, for example for customer billing purposes.

Machine Connect is included in NorthTracker’s theft protection solution and functions as a tracking device. Alerts are sent via SMS, push notification, and email if your tracking device moves outside your designated security zones. But the new Machine Connect can do much more than that.
Machine Connect can also be used to remotely disable the fuel pump or power supply.
You can also connect it to a magnetic contact on the rear doors of your van, for example, so that an alert is sent if the door is opened.
Yes, our Theft protection solutions are approved by insurance companies.
It is not mandatory. However, if you want your GPS tracker to be approved under SSF (Swedish Theft Prevention Association) standards, it must be connected to a monitoring centre.

Once you have created your NorthTracker account, an invoice will be sent within 3–4 weeks to your postal address or email.
As a business owner, you may track company vehicles provided you have informed employees and have their consent in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
As a private individual, you may not track another person without their knowledge and consent. Exceptions may apply for parents tracking minor children or when explicit consent has been given.
Yes, GPS tracking is legal in the UK. However, it must comply with UK data protection laws, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Tracking someone without their knowledge or lawful basis may be illegal.
Accuracy depends on the environment. With a clear view of the sky, positioning is highly accurate. However, dense trees, buildings, or metal structures nearby may cause deviations of approximately 10–20 metres.
Tracking works as long as the GPS tracker has contact with satellites. In enclosed spaces such as garages, signal strength may be reduced.
No. NorthTracker’s GPS trackers do not require an active internet connection to determine position. They use GPS satellites for positioning and mobile networks to transmit data.
NorthTracker Scout 2.0 has a battery life of up to 5 years, depending on usage and configuration.
It is important to install the GPS tracker discreetly. If the device is located and removed, tracking will no longer function.
NorthTracker’s GPS devices enter sleep mode when not in motion. This reduces transmission activity and helps minimise the risk of detection by signal scanners or jammers.
If you use the “Real-time tracking” update interval, you will receive an alert within approximately 5 minutes after the device leaves a designated security zone/geofence.
Yes. To assist in recovering stolen property, the latest GPS position can be shared with the police. Historical data is only disclosed if there is a formal legal request or investigation order in accordance with applicable law.
