Machine Easy is a compact and efficient GPS device that connects to the vehicle’s positive and negative terminals (+/−), provides real-time positioning, and logs history.
Once you have created an account, you can set up to five security zones for your NorthTracker Machine Easy. If the GPS device moves outside any of your selected zones, you will receive an immediate alert via SMS or email. Machine Easy provides theft protection that works throughout Europe. It continues transmitting its position, making it easier to recover stolen property. Machine Easy also logs movement history, allowing you to see how it has been used or summarise how long it has remained stationary at different locations, for example for customer billing purposes.

It is not mandatory. However, if you want your GPS tracker to be approved under SSF (Swedish Theft Prevention Association) standards, it must be connected to a monitoring centre.

Accuracy depends on the environment. With a clear view of the sky, positioning is highly accurate. However, dense trees, buildings, or metal structures nearby may cause deviations of approximately 10–20 metres.
Tracking works as long as the GPS tracker has contact with satellites. In enclosed spaces such as garages, signal strength may be reduced.
No. NorthTracker’s GPS trackers do not require an active internet connection to determine position. They use GPS satellites for positioning and mobile networks to transmit data.
NorthTracker Scout 2.0 has a battery life of up to 5 years, depending on usage and configuration.
It is important to install the GPS tracker discreetly. If the device is located and removed, tracking will no longer function.
NorthTracker’s GPS devices enter sleep mode when not in motion. This reduces transmission activity and helps minimise the risk of detection by signal scanners or jammers.
If you use the “Real-time tracking” update interval, you will receive an alert within approximately 5 minutes after the device leaves a designated security zone/geofence.
Yes. To assist in recovering stolen property, the latest GPS position can be shared with the police. Historical data is only disclosed if there is a formal legal request or investigation order in accordance with applicable law.
